How can I add units to my Global Constant? I don't see anywhere to do so. Thank you.

Sorry I am not sure why you would want a unit for a constant?  Constants are usually used in equations as adders/multipliers and therefore if you add to a channel. say  ride height in mm the result and units will be set in the final maths channel that you make.  ride height + constant =  new ride height      units  mm

In my case I am solving for Density (kg/m^3) from Pressure (N/m^2) and Temperature (K). In this equation I need a constant R = 287 J/kg-K to complete the formula correctly. Sure, I can ignore the units and still tell Pi I want the Density units in the end anyway, but I would rather have Pi checking units in case I make a mistake. Does that make sense now?

Also, in the same note, why does Pi not have Density as a basic type of measured value? I have to use User Type in the end.

In the box in the top left of the maths manager, when the unit is user defined, you can click on this box and change the value to your units..  Either that or you can go to Channel Properties menu and go to your channel and change the unit there. you can do it for this current display or for the whole workbook.
