Good Morning,

I am emailing on behalf of a driver, who came to me for help. But I been unable to help him.

He accidently changed this PI files to S1A file. He can’t change it back to the original format. I tried to but kept saying can’t find file source.

I attached one data file.

Can you help at all?

Kindest Regards

Jordan

Hi Jordan,

From what I can understand, you are using our Version 6 analysis tool. Please see link to a document that explains the process in some detail;

Essentially what you will need to do is import/open your .S1A file in PI V6. When you import, the software will begin to convert the .S1A to a .DAT file.

At this stage you will then need to use 'Pi File Converter' software to convert from .dat to a .pds file. Please PM me if you need links to any software. When converting from .dat to .pds unfortunately you will need to populate each channel with a unit (see document for further details).

Please feel free to PM me if you need any further information.

Kind regards,

Hi, this link is no longer available and I would like to learn more about converting to .pds files for a university senior design project. Could you post a new link or send one directly?

Thank you,
