I have a Pi Clubman logger in my Van Diemen. I'm able to download the data from my logger via Pi Delta, but as soon as i'm trying to open the downloaded data with the Pi Toolbox it tells me...

'There are either no files on this track or more then 255 files. Copy any
files over 255 to a new track directory.'

What am i missing? Do i need a different software or do i have to do some changes in Pi Toolbox?

Hi Sebs,

What is the file format of your offloaded data? For Toolbox it should be a .pds

Everytime i download data, its creating three different files. One is ending on .pds, one on .pid. and one .dat.

Hi Sebs,

Ok so the .pds file you should be able to open up in Pi Toolbox. Are you able to upload a screenshot of your Toolbox and error message or alternatively upload a copy of the .pds here so I can investigate?

This is the error that i'm getting when I'm trying to open the .pds file. I attached a pds file and a screenshot of the error.

Hi.. You are using the wrong program to try to read the logging file.. you need to use Pi Toolbox, there is a folder on here Software/Pi Toolbox where you can download install files.

Cheers

Hi Sebs,
the 255 error message occurs when you use Pi Club Analysis and there is no data file in the Pi Club folder.  I can help you with any of your Delta logger questions. I worked for Pi Research for many years and am very familiar with the Delta loggers and associated hardware and software.  please post your email and I will contact you from there.

Just a footnote, the pds dataset is for Pi Toolbox, the .dat dataset is for Pi V6 Analysis.  Thanks
Tom
