Hi
Can anyone help me out with look-up tables in Pi Toolbox? I can't seem to get them to work properly.

Thanks

Hi,
Look up tables can be a very useful tool for data analysis. Once mastered, look up tables can allow engineers to visualise many more aspects of car performance that might otherwise go unnoticed. It allows data which is collected off-track, or from an external source, to be integrated with the on track data for direct comparison.

Here is a link to the User Guide document for lookup tables;

Hi,

i follow the guide. But it doesnt work...

This is my tyretemp_lookup.xls:

lookup1.png

And this is the mathchannel:

lookup2.png

The waring is just for the different input (Voltage) and output (temperatue) of the channel.

Why does the 1D table doesnt work? What is wrong?

thanks, David

I'm not sure if you figured out the problem yet, but I think the issue is that you are adding the second parameter ", Both" to your lookup call in to the table.  Try changing the last line to this:

#Ttemp ([RTCM_AR_CH3 Voltage])

I don't think you need the semicolon either since it's the return value.

Did you right-click on the link to the excel file and select the "Verify Table Definition".  Make sure that reports back ok.
