I am not 100% sure this is the proper forum to post in but here it goes:

I am working with a customer who has a very old Windows 95 computer that hold a piece of software that is needed to communicate with a dash I believe. The software is Piclub. It's a very old version from what I can tell and find using Google but it does have some kind of copy protection I think.
The Windows 95 machine had a motherboard meltdown and I was unable to find replacement parts so I found a similar old computer and I was able to migrate the hard drive and software to this "new" laptop.

The problem is when we launch the program we get an error 155. See attached photos. I see something about moving the license but i'm a bit lost.

There is some good info in PILOOK (screenshot attached)
I see it says to run "CCMOVE"to create a working copy, I dont see a "CCMOVE" but I do see a "CCCHANGE" - I did try to run it but it does not seem to help at all. It asks for the drive or path containing the protected product. It seems no matter what I type here (making sure the format is correct= C:\PICCLUB, C, C:, C:\),.. when I press enter it flashes invalid location and closed instantly.

There is this info in a text document named INFO in one of the folders:

Date & Time: Thu Jan 03 23:48:36 1980
   Software: Club Expert Plus
Version No.: 4.01
Serial No.: 111XX (I EDITED THIS TO REMOVE THE SN, NOT SURE IF I NEEDED TO)

Box No.      Box Type
0520X        sys2+
0273X        sys2+
0152X        sys2+
0190X        sys2+
0211X        sys2+
0006X        sys2+
(NOTE I CHANGED THE LAST NUMBER TO AN X ON THESE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS INFO I NEED TO PROTECT OR NOT)

There is more photos attached with things I think may be useful.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello,
I can help you with this software issue. I worked at Pi Research for many years and am very familiar with the Pi Cub software and licensing issues.  Please respond with your email and I will contact you from there.  Thanks.
