Hello All,

I am having an issue with a new gear cut load cell we have implemented (we've never had gear cut on our car before so this is all new to us!)

We are now successfully getting a good reading from the load cell on upshifts and downshifts, however this is only reflected in the software as V_GCL, there is another parameter called GCL which is staying at 0V.

Therefore the ignition is not cutting when we try to shift gear, is there a setting we are missing as I assume we have to make GCL a useable reading to enable the cut?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Kind Regards,
Mo

Hi Mo,

if V_GCL is alive this means the sensor calibration is populated.
The next thing to check is your up and downshift thresholds. The example attached goes down in volts when shifting up.
Most of GCL's normally idle at 2.5V
TR_state and the TR_debug_MSG 1 -32 will tell you exactly what the current Transmission state is.

Hope this helps
