I have a Pectel SQ6 with software version 11.11.1 (Turbo).  I'm trying to use the Pectel ECU Offload Tool Version 1.23 (Build 72) to download the logged data.  I'm able to connect and see the list of logs although the configuration column all shows "unsaved". All Profile Units are recognized.  Each time I try to save (manual and auto-generate filename), I get "SavePDS: Failed to save PDS file!".

I have tried using a Windows XP computer thinking the problem might be Windows 10. EOT launched as administrator, destination folder has Everyone Full Control, Windows Firewall disabled. It's able to auto-create the folder but no file is written. Please let me know what I'm missing.

Thanks!

You must have Pi Toolbox installed

With the Windows 10 computer, I have tried with both Pi Toolbox 9.2.1472.1 and 11.0.1634.1 versions installed.  EOT will still give the same error.  I noticed on the "Logging configuration" tab that the green bar on the bottom for "Logging Bandwidth" will constantly refresh.

With the Windows XP computer, I haven't been able to install either version of Pi Toolbox as it requires .NET 4.5 Framework which doesn't work on Windows XP.  The "Logging Bandwidth" green bar displays constantly on this computer though. If EOT requires Windows XP, is there an older version of Pi Toolbox available that will work on Windows XP, if EOT requires Pi Toolbox?

I will try on Windows 7 next and see.

I have setup a Windows 7 computer with Pi Toolbox 9.2.1472.1 and EOT. It behaves similar to Windows 10 and throws the same error.  I've also ran the program in "Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode" but it doesn't help.

In EOT click on communications in top menu. In the popup box be sure Monitor Only is NOT checked.

I just verify the settings, "Monitor Only" is not checked.

I'm still unable to resolve this issue.  Are there any suggestion on what I can try?

Thanks,
John

You're a genius! I didn't know that this old version was still available, I had to search for it. With version Pi_Toolbox_7.3.824.2, I was able to save the outings fine (and on Windows 10).

Thanks for helping me out again!
